Maximising the Potential of AI in Broadcasting, Sports Analysis and Streaming

The media and broadcasting landscape is undergoing a seismic shift, with artificial intelligence (AI) at the core of this transformation. AI is not just enhancing operational efficiency; it’s enabling highly personalised viewer experiences, innovative advertising formats, and dynamic content creation. At GenFutures Lab, we’re here to help you harness AI to its full potential, guiding you through this exciting technological evolution.

This week, I had the privilege of moderating a panel and meeting with innovative companies at SportsPro Madrid. Here are some key highlights and insights:

Ochy: AI-Powered Movement Analysis for Runners

Among the standout companies at SportsPro Madrid was Ochy, a game-changer for runners. Their AI-powered movement analysis offers insights to improve your running form, minimise injury risk, and enhance performance.

I enjoyed meeting CEO Khaldon Evans and I was impressed by the personalised feedback—Ochy flagged my overextended arm and poor back position when running, giving me actionable advice to bring back to my personal trainer. This innovative tech empowers runners of all levels to refine their technique and push their limits.

AI Transforming Content Creation and Management

AI is revolutionising the content space, as demonstrated by these innovative startups I spoke with:

AnyClip

I spoke with Michael Kummer, Managing Director at AnyClip, about their AI-powered video platform. AnyClip automates tagging, making archived content searchable in over 120 languages. This tool helps organisations maximise their content’s value and engage with fans on a global scale.

InSync

James Taylor from InSync showcased their machine-learning-driven video standards conversion platform, which enables seamless transitions between formats like UHD and HD. For broadcasters, InSync is the ultimate solution for delivering consistent, high-quality video across platforms.

TagBoard

David Minetti introduced me to TagBoard, an audience experience platform transforming on-screen graphics. By integrating any data source into their system, TagBoard delivers live, shoppable, data-driven graphics for all devices.

Artlist.io

Liran Orpaz Orpaz from Artlist demonstrated their all-in-one platform for creators. Artlist offers original music, video, and AI-generated voiceovers in multiple languages. Type your brief, and the platform generates customised assets, streamlining the creative process for filmmakers and organisations alike.
